Keith Kennedy’s passion in life is to use his creativity and enthusiasm to better understand people and help them use technology and other luxury products to enhance their lives. Throughout his career, no matter the company he was with, the segment it served or the position held, this has always been his starring role. He has helped people from all walks of life in this way and will do so for the rest of his career. Whether the person is a home-owner building their dream home; a cross-functional group of developers bringing a new product into the world; a CTO attempting to maximize the workflow of their enterprise or a group of stakeholders trying to understand a new market or channel and how to maximize their strategy for it, he has successfully been able to provide them with a clear understanding and a solution that satisfies all of their needs.

Sound, picture, lighting and the arts and science that are involved have always been of great interest to him. He loves music and has been involved in playing and recording music from an early age. When he discovered that his High School was the first in Miami to have its own 8-channel audio recording and 3-camera television production studios he jumped at the chance to be involved. That was all it took and he has never looked back.

While attending college in Miami he worked on the side by teaching guitar lessons, installing sound systems, operating a video camera and editing raw footage in the studio. Then he found a new and blossoming industry, custom installed audio video and control systems. It would allow him to use his love and knowledge and spread it to others that wanted to include music and movies in their homes. Along the way he has worked for companies small and large. As a technician, programmer, sales person and manager. The crowning achievement was a company that he helped found and run that evolved into one of the largest systems integration firms in Florida and received many industry accolades and thoroughly satisfied hundreds of people.

After almost 20 years serving the end-user directly, he decided to get involved on the product development and manufacturing side of the business. During the next 9 years he directed cross-functional teams to help create a clear vision of what products should be, how they should work and how they should be brought to market. Through team efforts he has brought new products to market that represented line extensions and incremental improvements to market disruptive and award winning platforms. During the course of these efforts he has travelled throughout the US to work with some of the finest integrators in the business. His development efforts have afforded him the ability to work with teams face to face as well as those remotely located. During this course he also travelled to Asia and learned about an entirely different culture and way of developing and manufacturing products.

His latest endeavor, Hach Solutions, is an independent business that combines all of his experience, talent and skills into one where they can be shared in part or as a whole with discerning individuals and organizations. “Hach” is a word in the language of Klingon that is defined as “developed”. Hach Solutions will bring nearly 30 years of success to bear in a concerted effort to develop a solution for you that will enrich your family’s lifestyle or commercial enterprise.

Throughout his exciting career he has worked with many people who he has learned many important lessons from and have a great appreciation for. He has been very fortunate to have been able to do this and will continue to do so for the rest of his life. Along the way he has also been fortunate to be a part of an amazing family. He has a wonderful and loving wife with two amazing children. He loves to learn about new and creative ideas and philosophies. Has a second passion for cooking. And of course enjoys listening to music and watching movies, playing golf, quality time with family, travelling and exploring all the wonders this world has to offer.
